Isaiah’s Place

Isaiah’s Place has year round programs for the deaf families and non-profit groups for all ages. Diane Frederickson has opened the ranch gate at Isaiah’s Place since 2002 for the deaf community and more. The venue’s mission is to provide an educational retreat facility for Hope, Renewal and Restoration. From virtual Bible study to providing an opportunity to get away for deserving families, Isaiah’s Place will celebrate it’s 20th anniversary next year.

On principle, this organization has focused on enriching the lives of those served by nonprofit organizations including the deaf and underserved populations for nearly two decades. Located just outside Whitney, Texas, the 40-acre property has accommodations for families, groups and more that qualify.

We are inviting other smaller Non-Profits to office out of Isaiah’s Place Headquarters. These Non-Profits have the potential to bring in clients, volunteers, and programs that grow and enhance our programs, facilities, and the 40 acres. We focus educationally on Enriching Education, Improving Communication, and Cultivating Success. We are currently expanding our programs to include Equine Assisted Therapy and our facilities to provide a Labyrinth Park and Walking Trails.”

Isaiah’s Place is a Non-Profit 501(c)3, which works with all other non-profit organizations, churches,  and the deaf community. Families will find the ranch serene and quiet, with many areas to explore and educational opportunities. ASL-specific classes, from Bible Study to horsemanship and other youth development programs, are offered at IP. The facility is open year-round as a learning and retreat center.

You can find reviews of family stays, like these heartwarming stories:

We have a 13 year old daughter who is deaf. She regularly attends events hosted at Isaiah’s Place in Whitney. She has benefited from everything she has been involved with at IP. She has been involved in everything from horse back riding to bible studies. There are events for the Parents and hearing siblings as well. IP has been a positive experience for our family.”

This place is such a lil’ secret, lil’ hideaway! Claire is excited to come back next week as a camp counselor for the deaf retreat. But this week, our lil’ family came for a family mission trip to help prepare for the upcoming deaf retreat. We will be painting, cleaning, hanging up tin, etc. We are excited to be here! Looking forward to working & playing at Isaiah’s Place! A big thank you to Diane for allowing us to be His Hands Extended this week!”
