Doug’s saddle shop is dedicated to preserving and maintaining traditional Western styles. Doug Davis has a hand in crafting all saddles and horse gear, and has been tooling leather for more than 25 years. After owning a farm and catering to ranchers and cowboys in Oregon, Davis moved to Texas. He continued his leathercrafting business with business partner and wife Mary Ann.
“We offer quality and value throughout all of our products and services,” Doug said. “All of our saddles are made from USA tanned hides, using rawhide covered trees, and are cut, fit, and finished by hand.” From farm and ranch equipment that needs a replacement or just gets worn out in certain areas, Doug puts a personal, professional touch into every piece of leather.
With the tools to repair any problem, create custom designs for holsters, sheaths, belt, halters and horse tack repair. Doug was taught by a professional leather craftsman and continued to learn the craft by reading, studying and practicing. Mary Ann promotes and showcases beautiful pieces on Facebook here.
