A lot of people may not know but nestled on a downtown Clifton side street is a medical clinic with staff waiting to make you their next priority.
Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Hudson received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.
After 10 years of hospital experience at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, she completed her Master of Science Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019 from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Not long after receiving her master’s degree in 2019, Jennifer Hudson was offered a position with Waco Heart & Vascular under Dr. Phillip Myatt. Dr. Myatt planned to open a clinic in Clifton which worked perfectly with Hudson’s future plans.
“My husband’s family has owned land in the Norse area for many years, and we’ve wanted to come back to this area for a while,” Hudson said.
She and her husband Jeremy have known each other since junior high school, so she is no stranger to the area.
Bosque Medical Clinic opened part time in 2020, and by May of 2021 the clinic was open full time and ready for new patients.
What looks like a quaint storefront is deceivingly a fully functional medical clinic that offers more than one might think.
Routine check-ups, sick visits, well woman exams, sports physicals, and flu/strep testing are only some of the things they offer.
Uniquely they accept new cardiac patients without the referral of a Primary Care Physician.With school starting back up athletics will be in full force.
