The Meridian Epicenter Youth Complex is new and, it’s focused on bringing entrepreneurial guidance to all children willing to learn.
Co-Founder/Vice President Jennifer Lumpkins, Co-Founder/Vice President Lee Martinez and Program Advisor/Treasurer Julie Borhofen were seen recently at the City of Meridian’s Back to School Bash handing out information on an upcoming Bosque Children’s Business Fair.
When asked what their informational booth was for, they all smiled and said that they are a team of passionate entrepreneurs, mentors, and parents, who want our children to learn about entrepreneurship in a practical and fun way. They strive to cultivate an environment that gives young entrepreneurs the ability to grow, thrive and foster a future of excellence.
The event is for kids who want to develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy and then, open their ideas to customers at a one-day marketplace. The event will be divided into four age categories; Ages 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, and 15-18.
There will be up to 30 booths at the first annual event to be held at the Chisholm Trail Plaza Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business, and the generous support of donors and volunteers. They believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.
Whether an entrepreneur is famous, or one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country, these are the people who make sacrifices to innovate, create jobs and serve their communities.
